Day 2

Had my first real radiation today. Didn’t feel any different. Just laid on a table for 30 minutes and listened to today’s hits. Lol

I just finished taking my first chemo pills about 15 minutes ago. I’m supposed to stay up for 20 minutes after I take them to make sure they hit my stomach and don’t just stay in my esophagus or something lol. The doctors tell me what to do, and I do it. lol

Let’s just give all the glory to God that I’m not in any pain; just some inconveniences.  And let’s lift up prayers for my amazing support group — Brandon, Jeanie Linton, Aly Neff, my parents, my brothers, my grandma, my cousins, my uncles and aunts, my in-laws…. Truly everyone around me is trying their hardest to lift me up and there are so many lessons I’m learning from this… Humility, patience, trying to be less harsh, angry, judgmental… Casting my cares on God…. But darn it feels good to have started treatments so I feel like action is actually being taken.

Thank you everyone, and please continue with prayers…. Each prayer is a petition to our Lord. Love each of my supporters!!! 🙌🏻😘

Hope you will accept me as one of your prayer partners from Arkansas. I work with your mother in law at ASTATE. Today, I’ll be praying for your strength and courage. I can only imagine how scary all these new things are…medical terms, tests, chemo…so may God give you peace through it all and good music to listen to as well. Hugs to you.
